Dr. Erika Gonzalez is an internationally recognized medical professional with extensive experience in allergy/immunology, pediatrics, and clinical research. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Medical Branch, completed her fellowship at Wilford Hall Medical Center, & served in the United States Air Force Medical Corp for 9 years. Board-certified in both Allergy/Immunology & Pediatrics, she has served as the CEO & President of STAAMP Allergy since 2014, overseeing multiple clinics, catering to diverse populations in the city of San Antonio. Dr. Gonzalez has been recognized for her contributions, and was even appointed by President Joe Biden for the National Medal of Science Committee. In 2020 she founded Con Corazon, a nonprofit addressing health disparities, and has been actively involved in community leadership roles and advisory committees related to healthcare policy and education. Additionally, she has served in various teaching and faculty positions at esteemed institutions, demonstrating her commitment to medical education and patient care. Throughout her career, Dr. Gonzalez has maintained involvement in research, clinical trials, and professional societies, contributing significantly to advancements in the field of allergy and immunology.
