Dr. Irene Blaess
You have been considered one of the best dentists in San Antonio. What sets your practice apart from the rest?
What sets my dental practice apart from the rest is my commitment to providing the highest level of care and service to all my patients. I believe in treating everyone with respect, compassion, and personalized attention.
Our practice is equipped with the latest technology and tools to provide high-quality care across various dental procedures, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible treatment options for their oral health needs.
We offer a wide range of comprehensive dental services at our advanced general practice. Our in-house capabilities include braces, Invisalign, implants, full mouth restoration, veneers and bonding, dental lasers, 3D imaging, CBCT scans, iTero digital scans for record-keeping, and digital X-rays. I strive to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for my patients, ensuring that they feel relaxed and at ease during their visits. I also place a strong emphasis on patient education, taking the time to thoroughly explain treatment options and answer any questions or concerns that may arise. My dedication to excellence, patient-centered approach, and commitment to ongoing education and innovation are what truly set my dental practice apart from others in San Antonio.
Many people elected to go without dental care during Covid. Have you seen an increase in oral health issues because of that delay in preventative services?
Unfortunately, I have. Some people are only now coming back to see dentists so there has been an increase in cavities and gum disease. Luckily, we have both LANAP and Gemini EVO™ Laser in our office. LANAP stands for “laser-assisted new attachment procedure”, and it’s a minimally invasive laser treatment for gum disease and other periodontal issues. The procedure uses a special dental laser called the PerioLase® MVP-7 to remove infected tissue around the teeth while leaving healthy tissue intact. This triggers the body’s natural healing response, which can help regrow lost bone and gum tissue, prevent gum recession, and eliminate bacteria.
